Secure services supports both men and women who require specialist support and treatment to manage their mental health. Our secure services are recovery focused and inspire hope. As part of the recovery process every service user has a fully integrated therapeutic programme with access to a purpose built therapies centre. The NHS does however come with its limitations and it unfortunately does not come with unlimited resources.

Seven of us from all different disciplines are therefore taking part in The South West Tough Mudder on the 19th august 2018 to raise some funds for a range of additional therapeutic resources and opportunities for service users in secure care.

We will be running 12 miles with some gruelling obstacles that will see us climbing through a mud mile, sliding in to an ice filled water skip and getting electrocuted.

We are all passionate about working in mental health, specifically secure services, and hope that you will be able to join us in raising some funds for this great cause.
