We are hoping anyone who loves our Christmas lights as much as we do, could spare a little to go towards the neonatal unit at the Royal Worcester hospital.

We were fortunate enough to have had both our children looked after by the amazing doctors and nurses in this unit.

Scarlett was born in 2013 2 months premature weighing 3.8lb and spent 3 weeks in the unit. Not only did they look after her, they supported us as first time parents when things didn't quite go to plan like the books say.

Fast forward 3 years and we were back in the unit with Bobby who was also 2 months premature weighing 4lb. Everything was going well, we kind of enjoyed being back and seeing the familiar faces of the nurses and doctors who remembered us. Unfortunately as Bobby turned 10days old our world flipped upside down, he took a turn for the worst. Luckily he was in the best place. After lots of tests we then learnt that Bobby had Sepsis & bacterial meningitis. We spent 24 hours thinking we were going to loose him. Luckily the fast actions of the nurses and doctors, medication and time, Bobby made a full recovery and we left for home 4 weeks later.

We owe everything to them for looking after our world, we have 2 beautiful healthy children thanks to this unit and the amazing staff. So as a little thank you we would like to donate any money raised by people enjoying our Christmas lights to the Worcester Neonatal Unit.
