Theo is diagnosed with terminal brain cancer ETMR, after having aggressive treatment including stem cell transplant and proton radiotherapy his immune system was so low he caught an infection and he now has an autoimmune disorder which affects the brain function called PANS. This is controlled by daily antibiotics and IVIG treatment in hospital. We have had to move house from a first floor flat to accommodate his new complex needs and have got him a garden for him to play in which he's never had before. The charity Superjosh are landscaping the garden and need our help to raise the money for a castle play area for Theo to enjoy and also to improve his physical mobility. The prognosis for Theo is currently 20% he will be 12 months in remission on the 25th October. As Theo grows stronger physically i am faced with new challenges to keep him away from infection but to also try to give him as normal a life as possible. Having the facilities at home are an absolute must under the circumstances. Theo was set to start school but since his infection and disorder diagnosis he will have to be home schooled, his lowered immunity means he's unable to have all of the standard vaccinations that keep our children safe..

Theo loves castles and has picked the one he wants for xmas, the one above is similar although the company are making it to suit Theo's physical needs. Theo has a left sided weakness which improves with exercise. We think this type of gift for xmas will be perfect not only for his physical and mental health but to give him a safe environment to play in and explore for hopefully many years to come. Theo's Xmas Castle will be unveiled on Xmas day so if anyone can help us to raise the money and donate towards getting him this gift, it will be most appreciated.
