For my elective placement I will be helping Therapies Unite in Mexico. This is a charity that provides equipment, support and rehabilitation to children and adults with disabilities in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. There isn't a healthcare system like we have here in Mexico and many people with disabilities won't have the care they need. Therapies Unite works with local organisations to help fill this gap.
