Story
Winter is here and whilst most people are battening down the hatches and getting ready to hibernate I’ve decided to go cold water swimming!
I have never swum in the winter before...so it's a real challenge.
From 1 November to 31 March I will be swimming 200 metres twice a month in local open waters (including the North Sea) - an event organised by www.PolarBearChallenges.com - I will be doing the Penguin Challenge!
Please support me in my ‘crazy’ endeavour to raise funds so that the carers in our community can have free complementary therapies with TherapyAid CIC www.therapyaid.co.uk. Every penny goes towards a treatment to alleviate their stress and anxiety.
