    Story

As I turn 30 I have decided to set myself a challenge; 30 charity challenges for my 30th birthday, for 30 different charities – Thirty for thirty for thirty!

My challenge will officially begin on the 1st July (my birthday is the 24th June, however, I am unfortunately in Marrakech celebrating until the 30th…). I have compiled a list of 30 events and altogether they cover 30 charities – this was purely coincidence but I’m taking it as a sign!

I’m hoping to raise £3,000, £100 for each charity, and I need your help to do it! Please sponsor me whatever you can – even just £1 per event would be amazing and I will be covering the entry fees and travel costs for myself so any money you donate will go directly towards the charities!

Here is a list of the charities...

    Alzheimer's Society

22 challenges in! Yesterday I dragged my mum and colleague Jane to the top of Yeovil Hospital to abseil down 100ft down the side! The atmosphere was great and I definitely have a sense of achievement but perhaps not one I'll be doing again... So into the final 8 challenges and all in the month of June! Various 5k fun runs, a last bake sale, a couple of walks and a 10k around Greenwich park! Please keep donating and I'll try to keep updating as I complete these last few!

I have always enjoyed taking part in fun runs and am a keen walker/hiker in my own time; I am also the chief organiser of bake sales in my office, and as there are so many events I see advertised but never take part in, the idea of 30 in one year popped into my head!
