Each year, we aim to participate in events to fundraise for Vision Bharat UK. In November 2018, Priscilla and I will be taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge in Yorkshire – 24 miles of hiking up 1,585 metres. For those who know us, this is will DEFINITELY be the most challenging fundraising event yet!

Vision Bharat is a small, but successful UK-based charity that provides free eye care to those in the most underprivileged areas of India who have no means to pay for treatment. Each year our volunteers will travel to the poorest areas of India to set up an eye camp welcoming less fortunate individuals to come forward for free eye care - including doctors services, cataract operations, after care, medicines, glasses etc. The charity aims to improve the quality of life for individuals, their families and the entire community by providing a simple necessity - sight. Previously, we have visited areas such as Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab and Mumbai, however for the FIRST TIME, we will be branching out of India to set up an eye camp for adults and also children at a school in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka!
