Story
I have been offered a life changing experience to make a difference to the lives of children and teachers in Rwandathis summer with LRTT (Limited Resource Teacher Training)
Working wirh LRTT is working in partnership with Rwanda aid to deliver inspirational in-service teacher training in parts of the World where education really does change lives.
I will be delivering teacher training overseas in Rwanda for 3 weeks during the month of August 2018
The Rwandan education system has faced many challenges, including in the aftermath of the Genocide and recently with the change of language from French to English. In 2018 LRTT returns to Nyamasheke to build on the successful pilot.
I need your help to get there!Over the course of the next few months I will be attempting to raise as much money as possible to help reach my target of £2000 to cover flights, training and equipment to get me to Rwanda on 31st July 2018! I will be looking to raise money in different ways and asking people to donate.
I will be funding my injections and living cost myself.
I have added you to this group as I hope i can count on your support. Whether it is a collection at work, promoting it or joining in some fund raising.
I am keen to relay the impact of this project in Rwanda, yes its a fantastic opportunity for me but this is to raise money to get me there and the course for teachers who really can make a difference. Any excursions I will be funding myself. I have put some useful links and I am looking to run a sponsored event date even if separate events and you collect separately. Please please support.
