Story
Please help us get back on the road and attending competitions. Our old bus has had to be scrapped as the repairs needed t get it road worthy were more than it was worth unfortunately.
We desperately need to get a new bus and need to raise £4000 in total to achieve this.
Tanhouse Morris Dancers have been running in Skelmersdale, run entirely by volunteers, for 45 years - please help get us back on the road so we can get to the competitions the girls train so hard for.
The dancers are doing a sponsored walk from our practise hall in Tanhouse to Ormskirk town centre August bank holiday Sunday - please support them with any donation you can.

7 years agoWell our girls did amazing on their sponsored walk. 8.5 miles is a huge achievement for most people but an extra special achievement for our little baby dancers (aged 4-6) who walked the entire distance in their morris dresses to raise much needed funds for our new bus. Well done to everyone who took part and a big thank you to everyone who has donated either here, in the bucket during the walk or on paper sponsor forms. Every penny is really appreciated.

I have been a member of Tanhouse Morris Dancers for 38 years now and as well as dancing I am our treasurer, child protection officer and also train out baby troupe. TMD is an extended local family who all support each other. Please help us get a new bus.
