In memory of Paul “Griz” Adams

A prolific cricketer throughout his career, he transitioned seamlessly into a variety of roles within Acle Cricket Club including a range of committee posts, Youth Coaching and Management. His enthusiasm for Club Development saw him play an integral role in the creation of the 3rd XI and latterly as Coach and Manager of Junior Sides.

His passion for Junior Coaching and Team Management saw him spend many an evening and weekend passing on his wisdom to future generations. He worked with limitless patience and enthusiasm to give youngsters from all backgrounds the chance to develop their skills and enjoy the sport he so dearly loved

Many players who have progressed to Senior Cricket can thank Griz for playing a part in their development. The epitome of the word Clubman, Griz would lend his efforts to any task within the club with his inimitable style and dedication.

His legacy will be to ensure that Junior Coaching can continue and thrive with modern equipment and resources. The money will be allocated to enable future generations to flourish and thrive in an environment which will continue his hard work, dedication and commitment.
