Story
I am trying to help the local homeless community as street conditions are getting worse for young people sleeping rough. Simple items such as toiletries often cannot be afforded. I have been finding out about this as part of my NCS project and will be completing a 10km walk on Tuesday (from the Town Centre to Mersea) to raise money to produce bags of essential items such as toiletries and sanitary protection. These will be distributed at homeless centres, where we are also cooking meals this week.
