Many of you already know Tommy, but for his new fans, here is his story.

Tommy came to me when I was having a difficult time. He was actually in a pound in Ireland, and due to be put to sleep. Thankfully, I was told about Tommy and he came to England, where I fostered him and fell in love, so he stayed. I love all my animals so, so much, but Tommy and I are so close. We just have an extra special bond, and I will do literally anything for him.

Tommy is disabled. At first, I wasn't sure if he was born like that, or if something happened to him, but after investigation from the vet, it seems as though it's just the way he was born. He walks a little different from the other dogs, but it never stops him. He goes on walks, plays and chases those pesky cats too! Unfortunately Tommy has several health problems which do affect him. Although I did get him insured, we have reached the limit and they will no longer help us.

Tommy has a collapsing trachea, which is where his wind pipe collapses, making it hard for him to breathe. We have taken him to a specialst vets which have shown not only is he grade 4 for a collapsed trachea, there is collapse along the whole of the trachea, as well as in the branches of his lungs.

The medication he is now on is very expensive and as we have reached the limit on his insurance they won't help us. All money raised will go on his medication and regular vet checks.
