I’m raising money for an expedition to the Amazon rain forest and Galapagos Islands in the summer of 2019. I will spend a week in the Amazonian forest of the Napo river to help with biodiversity surveys followed by a week on Santa Cruz Island learning about Galapagos island ecology. On the 3rd March this year I am walking 5 miles from the Barnes wetlands along the Thames and past Westminster Abbey (the resting place of Charles Darwin) to the Institute of Zoology in Regent's Park.
