THE THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE

The people named below are taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge on the 2nd September 2017 as part of the Midlands Cave Rescue and Staffordshire Search and Rescue support team. Our aim is to climb the highest mountains of England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hrs. The three peaks are: Ben Nevis - 1344m, Scafell Pike - 978m and Snowdon - 1085m. The total distance walked is estimated at 42 kilometres (26 mi) with a total ascent of 3,000 m. The driving distance between the mountains is 465 mi (920 mi overall driving distance). We are raising money to support the Cave Rescue Organisation and Staffordshire Search and Rescue Team to assist in the purchase of new life saving equipment.
