Do not let my mum or dad know at all about this....... please .

My poor poor Dad trusted someone he thought he knew and this guy spun Dad a very beliveable and trustworthy tale that he had for sale equipment dad needed, he spent all week chatting to dad sharing life tales and be friending him and arranged to meet him today.

Dad organised a £600 limit extension on his credit card and drew the money out.

he met the man and handed him the money he counted it and made as if he was getting in his car to get the goods and he drove off. dad waited for 5 mins and he didnt come back. He went straight to the police station and they were closed.

Now it has been reported to police but onvs not much hope of any luck.

So i know its not your responsibility in any way but now dad is left feeling humiliated and completley broke..... and no money to buy the gear to improve his work possibilities. So im asking if you could possibly donate one or 2 pounds this could mean that dad feels the love and not so awful. He is possibly the nicest most giving man on the planet and has always given his last pound tonhelp othets more in need than him and maybe we could show the love back.

anything is amazing as i hust cant have dad paying this back for the next 2 years as he will feel the shame and humilation and brokeness all of that time.
