Story
My dear little cat Benny went missing 5 days before Xmas. Much to my relief he literally dragged himself home, having been hit by a car. He has a broken leg, but his main injury is the multiple breaks in his pelvis which requires specialist orthopaedic surgery, meaning he will have to have pins & plates. He is currently in a vetinary hospital in E16 & will have surgery either Wednesday or Thursday. Unfortunately he wasn't insured as I had cancelled the insurance due to the high costs. I am unable to work due to being registered disabled for my numerous health problems & am having a knee replacement at the end of February. I wouldn't normally dream of doing this but it is out of desperation. My bill for Benny so far stands at £1034.99 & that was just for x-rays, hospitalisation & drugs. I know this has come at an expensive time for everybody, but please - every penny helps.

8 years ago😻🐾 BENNY UPDATE 🐾😻 This is my last plea for donations to help cover the ever rising costs for Benny. He is (fingers crossed) having his external fixator removed next Tuesday. Benny is doing fantastic & has been a really brave little puss. He has adapted so well to the fixator & not once has he tried to chew the bandage that covers the fixings on the outside of his leg. I ask 1 final time to anybody who can afford a pound or 2, to donate as Benny's cause ends in 2 days & I am only just a 1/4 of the way there in reaching my goal. Thank you.

8 years ago🐾😻 BENNY UPDATE 😻🐾 As many of you know who have been following Benny's plight, I am happy to say he is now making a great recovery & even allowed out of the pen for 5 mins, 3 x daily. He had his surgery (successfully) where he had a metal fixator attached to his leg & a prosthetic ligament inserted. I am so very grateful to everybody who has donated & shared this page, but once again I ask you all again to share this page & if possible make a donation, no matter how small, every penny helps. Attached is a video of Benny on his 1st walk!

8 years ago🐾BENNY UPDATE 🐾 Hi all, once again would like to thank all those who have donated, am now 30% of the way there, so still need quite a substantial amount before I reach my target. Benny is now on antibiotics after having surgery on Tuesday to fix his leg as pus was found around one of the sites where the fixator is screwed in. I now have to bath & massage him daily, which I find quite traumatic as he is clearly in pain as he lets out little meows. I would be ever so grateful if all you Benny supporters could once again share this page.
