As many people now know, Richard and Diana will be retiring from The Red House on Saturday 27th August after 43 years running the shop and, with that in mind, we would dearly like to have a collection from all their friends and customers over the years to say a massive thank you.
Particularly, we are aware that, in those years, they have never taken a holiday and, therefore, we think that it would be a fitting expression of gratitude from the village to raise a sum which would allow them to take a suitable break.
We are obviously keen to keep this as much a secret as possible so that it will be a lovely surprise for Richard and Diana when we present it to them.
