My Mum suffers many physical and mental health issues. Has daily chronic pain , chronic exhaustion, can be confused and drowsy. Tracy can need support and takes a lot of medication. Dealing with all of this, alone, on holiday is daunting, stressful and unsafe.

Life has been cruel and we need to help my Mum heal. She hasn't had a holiday for 15 years.

Tracy has chronic depression, anxiety and mood disorders. She often feels scared, lonely, frustrated, hopeless and like giving up. Tracy NEEDS this, to save her mentally. Dissociative seziures, are long, aggressive and frightening. If she was able to heal they may stop. The mental health teams failed her and we have spent many a time convincing her that life is worth living and ending it does not have to be an option.

Our Mum is incredible; to go through hell, survive a brain infection and wake up everyday to suffering. YET smiles, laughs and is there for us. We were told that she probably won't make it. The next day she sat up and laughed! She worked to get skills back, e.g using cutlery.
This retreat will enable Tracy to find herself and improve her life.
She has no other close family, and few friends. She spends lots of time alone and struggles going out, and make friends due to anxiety. This retreat would show her that she is not alone.

Therapy opportunities include; art, reiki, reflexology, yoga and relaxation/meditation. Plus visits to the town and beach. Mum has been given an adapted room. The local jungles have ramps for wheelchairs. Flights are supported and transfers to/from airport are included. Each person has a 1 to 1 worker. This trip has everything for Tracy to have a safe, rejuivinating, once in a lifetime trip. UK supported holidays, and are not much cheaper, and so makes sense to go all out and give our Mum the trip she deserves.

The money includes the retreat, flights, insurance and visa. We have started paying towards costs but we desperatley need help. Charities can't help with grants.
