kieron has dandy walker variant syndrome and this has left him with delayed speech and mobility ,we are currently aiming to save up for a folding electric wheelchair for him,this will last right into adult hood as they take a max of 23st in weight,our aim for him is to make everything brighter ,better and easier for him as he moves through his childhood and into his teens ,we have not long got new beds with a staircase rather than a ladder so he is currently in the floor bunk(mattress height from floor) and this is the first time hes ever been able to climb in and out of his own bed and later he will be able to use the top bunk ,we have had a wet room installed again for the future so he can shower unaided with privacy and he has his stair lift,everything we are saving and doing is to help him... so this chair will be fantastic for him and give him even more independance ... any donations will be gratefully received
