Fire Emergency response for people with disabilities and severe medical conditions

In the early hours of 9th of September 2020, huge fires, fanned by strong winds, ravaged Moria Camp, destroying nearly everything. The situation is horrendous as the nearly 13,000 residents of the camp have been evacuated and are stranded on the streets and nearby fields, their tents and all their belongings completely destroyed. This has happened in the midst of a COVID-19 outbreak in the camp, where 35 people have already tested positive.

Fenix Humanitarian Legal Aid provides holistic legal aid and protection support to clients in situations of extreme vulnerability, this includes those with mobility restrictions and disabilities. Several of our clients are in wheelchairs.

Refugees in wheelchairs and with complex medical conditions cannot stay on the street. They urgently require safe-housing and running water. Help us raise €5000 to move our high-risk clients to safety.
