Tendring Specialist Stroke Services can help after stroke by continuing the work done by health services. This journey needs to be supported for both stroke survivor, carer and family. Courage, strength, regaining confidence, support and advice come from meeting and sharing with people who have been through, or are going through a similar journey. Within our organisation we look at the positives and negatives of life now and in the future.

We can’t put the clock back but we can offer support to stroke survivors and their families as and when needed and in the long term. Stroke survivors have the opportunity to meet other survivors and carers can meet with other carers. Many carers say much of their support and information comes from other carers.
