We are three Durham University students acting as ambassadors(Charlie Yau, Tom Fitzgerald, Ollie Strudwick) for Blokes, a Men’s Mental Health Charity. On Sunday 14th August we will be completing an Ironman Challenge between the three of us, to raise awareness for this cause and promote telling a #MaleTale. We will all be doing this on the Isle of Man together, finishing at the Terminus Tavern.

Ollie will be tackling a very long cycle of 180km; whilst Tom will be attempting to cover 3.8km swim in open water and Charlie will try to reach a 42.2km marathon run.

We hope to promote the message just because you struggle with your mental health, doesn’t mean you’re any less of a man. Its not weak to speak, you never have to suffer in silence.

We hope to spread these messages and normalise the idea of voicing your struggles, as this sits heavily and close to the three of our hearts. We will aim to promote this throughout our training during the build up to the day of our challenge. Any donations is greatly appreciated.
