Story
Eddie Wolecki Black has influenced both of us and many more others as coaches, his ideas and progressive thinking shape parts of how we coach our own teams today. So when Eddie suffered a stroke while managing Airdrie last year, it was a huge but hopefully temporary loss to the game. Now as he, his wife Emma and family try to raise money for potentially life changing treatment in America, we decided to do whatever we could to help them reach their target.
As you might know, Craig Joyce and myself don't have the best of knees so "Two men, one knee", was the inspiration behind the idea of us taking on a 10 mile walk from Ibrox-Firhill-Celtic Park-Hampden followed by both having our heads shaved at Hampden when we finish. We have set a target of £200 but we aim to smash this and raise more if possible to put towards Eddie's fund to allow him to live life to the full with his young family.
The fabulous Melissa Fraser will be on hand with the electric razor to chop our hair, and we might even live video it for you to have a laugh at our expense.
So please donate what you can, be it the cost of a pint at the weekend or more, we'll be grateful for all of it, and no doubt you'll enjoy seeing two guys who love their hair, lose it all for such a great cause.
