Story
Donate to my half marathon to raise money for Mosquito nets and to support Kisiki College, Uganda
As a former student of John Kyrle High School, and an individual who was fortunate enough to visit Kisiki College Namutumba, Uganda in July 2017; I would like to raise money to benefit the link between the two schools.
The link celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2018, and in visiting Uganda the year before this, I was able to see the impact that the 25 years or so of supporting Kisiki College has had on it. The money raised by JKHS funds a wide range of commodities at both Kisiki college and the surrounding community - mostly importantly: Mosquito nets. The nets only cost £5 and can save entire families from Malaria.
John Kyrle High School consistently fundraises to support Kisiki College year after year; however, I'd like to do what I can to raise even more money to help fund further improvements to Kisiki for the current students and those to come. By supporting me running the half marathon you can too!
