The United World College movement brings together young people from around the world to learn live and grow together. UWC shortcourses allow and intense access to the experiential educational model for groups of young people who would not otherwise have the opportunity. The UWC Short Course in Malta | 'Transformational Crossroads' program aims to provide young people from diverse social and economic backgrounds with the opportunity to learn about:

- Building and strengthening a community

- Identity and Self-Awareness

- Leadership and Activism

- Malta and Migration

- Media and Communication

By bringing a mix of our young people together to learn, we know they will take their experiences back to their friends, family, and wider communities and are so excited to be able to offer this programme this year.

To be able to fund as many flights, visas, fees, and beds as possible we are hoping to raise 7,000 euros (c.£6000) before June! This money will be used to bring participants from Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa together to learn about and discuss the current movement of people in these regions -- both in Malta, around Malta, and in their home countries.

Your donations, no matter how big or small will make a difference - here are some of the ways we will use funds raised...

15 euros (c £13) will cover insurance costs for one participant

250 euros (c £225) will cover the meals for one participant

700 euros (c. £620) will fully sponsor a participant and will cover their accommodation, food, insurance, workshops and local travel costs.
