Jackie is a beautiful 8 year old Yorkshire terrier .

She was very scared and was afraid of humans , she tried to run away , her back leg was injured .

Jackie was rescued by a very kind lady , taken to the vet for examination , vaccination and X- rays .Thankfully she had no spinal injury , however the X - rays show that both her ankles are shattered and there is massive bone loss , and she has lost the toes on one back foot. We are led to believe that the injuries where caused by a car.

We have been in touch with a vet overseas, who are prepared to help , once she is ready with her passport to travel.

They would like to perform surgery on Jackie , possibly removing one back leg ( the one without toes ) because this is the worse leg , and by fusing the ankle into one position on the other . Worse case scenario is both legs will have to be removed , meaning Jackie will need wheels .

All this comes at a heavy cost , something that we has rescuers cannot achieve on our own . We would therefore like to raise £5000 GBP with the help of friends , family , and animal loving people who care .

We are hopeful for Jackie and we believe she should be given this chance , so she is able to have a quality of life and be loved, and treated as any normal four legged dog.
