I am completing the Yorkshire three peaks challenge on the 13th May in order to raise money for my partners amazingly determined and inspirational nephew 5 year old Thomas Hudson.

Thomas has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. He has increased tone (stiffness) in all 4 limbs, but worse in his lower limb. He cannot sit,stand or walk.
I want to raise money to help Thomas's parents Jo and Lee to raise funds as they have been told that Thomas is a good candidate for SDR surgery. This is a neurosurgical procedure aimed at reducing spasticity (tight and stiff muscle tone) in the lower limbs. It will cost £16000 plus costs for physiotherapy afterwards.

I am not a regular walker and so this will be extremely challenging for me but not more so than the challenges little Thomas faces on a daily basis,yet Thomas is always happy with a beautiful beaming smile on his face.

Please dig deep people as this surgery will mean so much to little Thomas and his family.
