Hi guys

I am fundraising for a new wheelchair for carys. Unfortunately the wheelchair service for the nhs cannot provide a suitable chair. They have advised me due to carys' height the only chair they can provide is an adult chair which is too big, too wide and takes away her ability to self propell. Carys' legs are her wheelchair and its so important for her to be safe, become independent and also to be happy with her wheelchair. Just like any other girl she wants to look pretty in a girly chair which the simba is.

we attended the kidz up north event at event city last week and after much deliberation we found the perfect wheelchair for carys. The "simba"...this chair is lightweight and easy to propell giving Carys the independence she needs. The chair also gives much needed support to carys' posture.

The downside is that due to our postcode we do not qualify for rhe voucher scheme which allows children with disabilities to privately purchase a suitable wheelchair. The cost of a chair for carys is £2173.00.

please help us to raise funds for Carys' wheelchair.
