Story
Through a wonderful organisation 'Changing Worlds', I am planning to travel to Accra, Ghana in June 2017, to teach Art & Craft classes to local Ghanian children. My upmost aim in life is to help underprivaleged people through the fantastic wonders of ART. I am planning to do an MA in Art Therapy in 2018 where I will be able to work towards a wonderful career inspiring, encouraging and helping people through my passion for Fine Art.
I will gain incredible experience working with underprivileged children including disabled and orphaned kids. I aim to inspire and encourage young children to communicate and convey joy through the expression of art and craft. This program also allows me to work alongside local Ghanian artists in their studios. This will inspire me greatly as African Art has been one of my greatest influences for my practise for years.
This will be an incredible opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge needed for an MA in Art Therapy while enhancing my passion for the course. I feel this project will be the most valuable and rewarding experience and I am excited to feel great satisfaction inspiring Ghanian kids through the experience of communicating the beautiful universal language of Art.
