Day 31: We've done it thanks to you our supporters!! Jess, Soph and I ran our last lap today and have named our 5K a day challenge 'Jess's Nan's Run' in memory of the grandmother who told Jess to keep going only 10 days ago just before she died. We've raised more than we ever dreamt of for GAM's bursary fund - in excess of £3,500. This will help at least 10 students gain bursary help with their fees in these difficult Covid times. I'd like to thank my grandson Louis for his contribution doing exercise and violin practice daily - raising £31.

Day 30: One day to go! I've had my lockdown haircut - so no excuses on the speed front tomorrrow! Sophie has clocked up 155.80km over the month to date and a 'very tired' Jess managed fastest pace of 5.59min/km today by the canal at Ebley out of the three of us. It seems slightly surreal that tomorrow is the last 5K-a-day of this amazing challenge and I am so grateful to Jess and Sophie and all of you who have supported us. We know that we have helped some families already and as the Covid fallout continues we hope to help many more.

Day 29: Two runs to go - and tomorrow I get my lockdown hair cut at long last - so that will be a weight off... with no excuses for a slow time! (The Bearded One has also finally agreed to have his Santa locks dealt with.) We're all beginning to wonder what life will be like without the bleary-eyed, early morning routine. I've a sneaky feeling whippet-fit Tilly won't see any need to stop unless there's a downpour! Jess has found a running companion in her Dad - will he want to stop - especially when running through countryside like this?
