Story
Walkersnotts is an non-profit group whoTuesday night stand on Sneinton Market feeding 90+ homeless/vunerable people. The volunteers come from all walks of life and put their time in cooking and preparing the clothes that are donated to help the homeless keep warm. Most provide the food for free and local businesses are starting to support us with donatilns of food. We need to provide a space indoors to do this and want storage for the foods we are being offered. We are committed to helping these young/old sometimes pregnant vunerable people and need your help! I got involved with this group as I felt there were too many people out their struggling not having a home often due to lack of social housing and break up of relationships. Having worked in a school for 10 years I have seen the devastating effect this has on children involved!
