The 2018 hurricane season in the Caribbean has now commenced and will last a few months. It is predicted a number of hurricanes will be very ferocious. Dominica is improving but there are still villages without the basics, electricity and running water. Some schools are still not operating and not rebuilt. We must look to the future and be positive. Great news after eight months St Joseph may soon have electricity restored. This includes St Joseph school where they have struggled with power and water supplies since the hurricane. This is a boost for their confidence as the primary school children strive to get to grips with their educational needs. The supplies purchased with your kind donations have proved invaluable and I am sure everyone of them would like to thank you personally.
