    Story

The children of The Commonwealth of Dominica have been hit hard by hurricane Maria. Parts of the island have been devastated and aide is slow in arriving. Fifteen people have lost their lives and twenty are still missing. Water is running out and food supplies low. Houses have been ripped apart so adults and children are sleeping in the open. Some schools are now in temporary accommodation but they have no books or learning aids. Some are still without electricity and water.

    Please make that difference!

    Thank you

The 2018 hurricane season in the Caribbean has now commenced and will last a few months. It is predicted a number of hurricanes will be very ferocious. Dominica is improving but there are still villages without the basics, electricity and running water. Some schools are still not operating and not rebuilt. We must look to the future and be positive. Your donations will make that difference and give children the basic education they deserve. This page will now be closed so we would like to thank all those who have contributed Thank you!

Great news after eight months St Joseph may soon have electricity restored. This includes St Joseph school where they have struggled with power and water supplies since the hurricane. This is a boost for their confidence as the primary school children strive to get to grips with their educational needs. The supplies purchased with your kind donations have proved invaluable and I am sure everyone of them would like to thank you personally. The job is not yet finished so please share this story with all your friends Thank you thank you thanks
