West Craven Breastfeeding Friends began in May 2017, after local funding was cut and our local children's centre was unable to continue providing infant feeding support.

A group of breastfeeding mum's took up the challenge and our group has gone from strength to strength. We rely heavily on donations from our members. Recently we were asked to contribute towards some proper storage for our group facilities (toys, books, useful equipment) as the space we currently occupy is no longer suitable.

We are asking people to chip in and help us pay for the storage facility, so that we can continue to use group funds to pay for rent and providing ongoing support to local families.

Our community group has helped many women and babies reach their breastfeeding goals and overcome difficulties by providing access to evidence based information, resources, and mum to mum support. We want to continue to fund this and would appreciate any help you can give us to help us cover the cost of a new storage facility.
