I did it!!!!! I’m the second from the front on the photo in yellow - my daughter Sarah is at the front…..what an amazing experience, the hardest I’ve done but just wonderful! Thank you all so much for your generosity..🙏

So this is my first of two wacky adventures this year…..this first is specifically to raise money for my wonderful dementia support group York Minds and Voices. The money raised will go towards the cost of our monthly meetings, which for many of us are a life saver - meeting with others also living with dementia so no one feels alone. Peer support was the best support I found, when diagnosed. Knowing you’re not alone, sharing stories and tips and simply being their as my second family.

I realise this is a hard year for everyone, so I’m not expecting to raise very much but every penny helps…..So, what am I doing? Well I never knew Europes longest Infinity bridge existed near my paradise of Keswick 😳…and as soon as I found out I knew I had to do it. So wish me luck and donate the price of a cuppa and I’ll be more than happy.
