Widnes Tennis Academy is a non profit making community tennis club with a growing membership, and a great family atmosphere. Our membership consists mainly of children from the local area and beyond and provides them with expert coaching and an opportunity to improve their game. The adult side of the club also thrives with both the men's and ladies teams being league champions in the local area.

The club was opened in 2007 but due to errors made during construction the clubhouse floor is now in desperate need of repairs, without this the club could be forced to close which would be a great loss to the community and leave its loyal members heartbroken.

The repair to the clubhouse floor is a major expense as the floor itself needs completely removing and reinstalling along with all of the interior walls, fixtures and fittings. We have managed to raise some of the money required by holding various social events but we are still way short of the sum needed to restore the clubhouse to its former state.

We are therefore appealing to anyone for any donation however small, as we need to have these repairs done as soon as possible to prevent possible closure.

If enough money is raised and the repair work can go ahead we will be holding a re-opening event to which all people who have helped us will be invited as a massive thank-you for all help received saving this wonderful club.
