Our aim is to create an inviting day room which offers our elderly and frail patients the chance to enjoy some time away from the busy ward itself either independently or with the support from staff and relatives. The day room will be fully decorated as well as providing a T.v, sofa, arts and crafts, books, puzzles and tea and coffee facilities. This particularly will provide patients who are effected by Dementia with a familiar and homely setting.

A group of staff will be walking 20.4 miles in order to raise this money. The walk will take place on Saturday 4th August and will start and finish at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital.
