Dancing to support St Luke's and Ashgate Hospices

Smartdanceworks CEO and Dance Instructor, Tracey Barnes is hosting a charity dance at Chesterfield’s prestigious Winding Wheel venue on 23rd September 2017. The event will take place in order to fundraise for two local charities: St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield and Ashgate Hospice in Chesterfield.

Overt the last several years, Smartdanceworks have organised various dance events at this venue and the nights prove to be historically successful, but the venue is very expensive to hire, therefore we would love to cover these costs through your donations which would mean that all money taken on the night and through the raffle will ALL be donated to the charities.

There will be music to suit all tastes and dance styles and a raffle will also take place for attendees with a range of prizes on offer.

We want to create a fun night of dancing, bringing together dancers from many different backgrounds. Whether you dance modern jive, salsa, ballroom, tango, blues, west coast swing or have absolutely no experience, everyone is welcome to participate. There are opportunities to meet new people, learn new moves or just strut your stuff!” Smartdanceworks want to ensure that the money raised will help support hospice services dedicated to improving the quality of life for terminally ill patients. The work these two hospices do is incredible. Not only do they offer specialist care, support and advice for their patients, they also provide a lifeline for their families who are struggling through what is a very difficult time. These hospices provide an expert level of care. They provide this care free of charge and this can only be achieved by the generous donations people continue to provide.
