1 year old Ted Waring has been nominated as Workforce's Charity of the Year 2017!

We will be doing various activities throughout the year as a business to raise £10,000!!

Our first event will be on Saturday 10th June 2017 where we will be walking from Bolton to Blackpool Tower in order to raise funds to help support Ted and his family during this terrible time. Our target for this event alone is £5,000 however we are hoping to smash this with your help!

This will involve a 35 mile walk within 14 hours! A great challenge that everyone here at Workforce can not wait to begin!

In his short life Ted has undergone over 14 operations and intensive chemo to reduce/ remove the tumour behind his eyes. He has also lost the sight in his left eye, suffered a severe stroke and is now facing a minimum of 72 weeks of even more intense chemotherapy!

For such a young boy, who has been through so much, Ted never fails to raise a smile. He is laughing (and most definitely flirting) with all of his Nurses, and is battling every day to live his life to the fullest!
