Bright Stars Youth FC was born out of the love and passion for football. Bright Stars Youth F.C aim to use football as a pathway to introducing children to physical activities that help promote higher self-efficacy, healthy competition and social skills.

Physical activity is associated with numerous health benefits for children, such as muscle and bone strength, health and fitness, improved quality of sleep and maintenance of weight. However with the austerity measures of the current government affecting all spheres of life and in particular those of families, it is becoming more difficult to support children to channel their energy into positive activities that will help in their development .

With the experience of our coaches and the active participation of parents in the running of the club, we aim to support children's overall development through football, improving their social skills, team work and respect for self and others. Our aim here is to raise money to buy training equipments, hire training facilities, buy team kits.

We currently train twice weekly, Mondays 5pm-7pm and 6pm-8pm on Thursdays and we have U8s (mixed), U10s (mixed) and 12s (boys only) teams playing in the Hackney Marshes Saturday Youth Football League.
