Sport England forced the closure of the historic Amateur Athletics Association (AAAs) and replaced them with the quango England Athletics.

The AAAs existed as a guardian for the rules of competition.

England Athletics have contributed nothing to the sport, except a system of taxation. If the tax is not paid up to date, athletes are excluded from competition. It is the competition which inspires the athletes to train and compete more often.

England Athletics are destroying our sport by excluding so many.

It is important that we test through the courts the legality of a publicly funded organisation forcing competition providers to exclude athletes who meet all the entry criteria and have paid the entry fee.

At the time of writing five children aged between 12 and 18 have been excluded from the Middlesex County Track and Field Championships, because they have not been allocate an "England Athletics Registration Number". This is a tax.

Questions in law:

1) Should lottery good cause money, or government funds be used to turn Athletics into a closed sport, where only centrally registered may participate.

2) England Athletics are not accountable by any means to athletics clubs, or athletes, but collect tax from them in order to raise income. Is this tax legal without accountability?
