    Story

Carol and Fred were blessed with lovely twin daughters about a year ago. Babies bring a lot of joy to family, relatives and friends and sometime this year, we all joined them at the christening of their latest addition to the family. Unfortunately, soon after that joyous moment, they learnt that their two little babies had sickle cell anaemia. Since then, Zion and Zeijia have started experiencing bouts of excruciating pain and inevitably cry a lot due to the discomfort. In an effort to make the twins live a normal life, Carol and Fred have vowed to fight on and ensure that their children are happy like other children and they are determined to see that they grow up and enjoy a pain free life. They are planning to travel to India to have a procedure meant to reverse this condition known as bone marrow transplant. If successful this should help these beautiful twins grow up normally. The family requires US$ 85,000 to have this procedure done and completed by February 2019. As friends, we have decided not to let Carol and Fred face this enormous task alone. You can join us and give Zion and Zeijia a chance at life by donating to this fundraising campaign.
