My name is Poppy and I am 10 years old. I have recentley been selected to compete with team GB as part of a delegation in Bulgaria Oct 2017. I train incredibly hard 12 hours a week after school and It has paid off as I have won bronze, silver and gold medals at national and international level. My prized acheivements are a bronze in 2016 at the British Championships for aerobic individual and a silver for a trio in 2017. Due to my achievements I have been selected to be a member of FIG. This is the federation of international gymnastics. Competing is rewarding personally but more important to me is accomplishing new heights with my team. Gymnastics is a very expensive sport and it is getting more expensive for my family as I compete internationally. I have always dreamed of one day competing in the world championship but even more so the olympics. I am reaching out to all those people individual or organisations who support sport and appreciate all the good things that sports brings.
