Story
Z Theatre Company are raising funds to help us get to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018 and we need your help!
17 first year students from the University of Hull Drama Department are taking 2 shows to the Edinburgh Fringe 2018. Whilst we are funding some of the experience ourselves, we have been working around the University campus to fundraise the rest of the expenses. All money raised will cover the cost of hiring our venue (Venue 45), our accommodation, travel and insurance during our time at the Fringe.
Our shows this year are:
'Women aren't Funny' by Joey Fitzpatrick:
Parker has only ever dreamt of being a stand up comedian. But there's only one problem. She's not funny. Join her through a comedic journey of self-discovery as we try and find out if she can be sucessful, or is there some truth to the opinion that women aren't funny.
'Ripper' by Sean Climie:
Whitechapel,1888. When the police discover the mutliated body of Mary Ann Nichols a series of events take place that will change Whitechapel forever. Ripper is narrated by the man himself and gives an insight into the mind of histories most mysterious figure.
Please give anything you can, whether this is £1, £5 or £100 we appreciate any support that you can give us!
Thank you in advance!
