<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my LTC page.<br><br>Inspired by the memory of my father, who died in 1992 after fighting for 5 years with the Parkinson. <br>This disease is a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system and unfortunately there is no cure for it. <br>Medications, surgery and multidisciplinary management can provide relief from the symptoms, <br>that is why is so important to raise money for the research.<br>One person in every 500 has Parkinson's. That is about 120,000 people in the UK. <br><br>I am tackling a gruelling 50 miles run challenge from London to Cambridge, <br>taking the opportunity to support with a donation (I hope a big one) <br>the Parkinson's UK charity association.<br><br>I am confident that with the right training I will be able to complete this event, <br>making a significant contribution to this incredibly worthwhile cause.<br><br>Thanks everyone.<br><br>G.</p>
