Sophie passed away soon after midnight on 14th December 2009. We are all lost without her but trying to look ahead the way she always managed to.

Sophie originally established this fund-raising page to go with her blog: http://www.cupcakescurlsandchemo.blogspot.com - both of which were important to her dealing with her diagnosis of cancer.

Her immediate thought was that she had a great opportunity to raise money for Macmillan and help other people. She found their website incredibly helpful and was determined that something positive would come out of her own experience, however hard.

We are so proud of Sophie and hope that you will donate generously to the wonderful work of Macmillan in her memory.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On Wednesday 25 November 2009 I was diagnosed with cancer and I will be starting chemotherapy in the next fortnight. I feel positive that I will beat this and I am lucky enough to have an incredible network of family and friends helping me through this scary time. I have also gained great support through the Macmillan cancer charity and in recognition of Macmillan's wonderful work I would love to raise as much money for them as possible!
