<p>To raise money in support of the British Heart Foundation, scientists in the Centre for Vision and Vascular Science at Queen's University Belfast (<a href="http://www.qub.ac.uk/research-centres/CentreforVisionandVascularScience/">http://www.qub.ac.uk/research-centres/CentreforVisionandVascularScience/</a>) are entering 3-relay teams along, with 2 mad men and mad woman running the entire Belfast marathon.</p> <p>The British Heart Foundation's&nbsp;mission is &ldquo;to create a world where people don't die prematurely from heart disease&rdquo;, through pioneering research, vital prevention activity and ensuring quality care and support for everyone living with heart disease.</p> <p>The BHF sponsor a number of research projects in CVVS where we are lucky to contribute to the pioneering research as well as seeing how the other aspects of the charities work are executed.</p>
