I am currently living in Hong Kong, one of the most crowded places on earth. My passion for cycling never stopped - not even in this hard-to-cycle environment. This October I visited one of the projects of The Glacier Trust in Deusa, Nepal with my students to support their work over there. To raise money for the TGT and awareness for the climate change I am going to cycle the beeline from Hong Kong to Mt. Everest - 2810km until the end of December. Throughout I'm also climbing the height of Everest (8848m).

Momentan wohne ich in Hong Kong, einer der am dichtesten besiedelten Plätze unserer Erde. Meine Leidenschaft, aufs Rad zu steigen, hat auch hier nicht aufgehört - trotz der wirklich fahrradunfreundlichen Umgebung. Im Oktober habe ich ein Agricultural Centre in Deusa, Nepal besucht, welches von der Organisation "The Glacier Trust" unterstützt wird. Zusammen mit meinen Schülern konnte ich den positiven Einfluss und Entwicklung der Region durch die Arbeit von The Glacier Trust mit eigenen Augen sehen. Um diese Organisation zu unterstützen, fahre ich die Luftlinie von Hong Kong zum Mount Everest mit dem Fahrrad - 2810km bis Ende Dezember.
