Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Portland to Portland page.

In April 2013 a dozen or so cyclists will ride the 4,000 or so miles from Portland to Portland Place to raise money for architects' charities -the Architects Benevolent Society and Article 25. We will cycle from Portland Oregon, over the Rockies to Minneapolis, Chicago, Philadelphia and New York. We fly from JFK to Shannon and on to Dublin, take the ferry to Wales and ride through Bristol and Oxford to London.
We chose Portland Place as its the headquarters of the Royal Institute of British Architects and Portland Oregon as our destination because it is a cycling city.
