We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Hiya my name is Louis Carr.

I am currently working on a charity bike ride through Catch 22 with my Key Worker Pete. Next year I am attempting to push bike from Brighton Pier to Lowestoft Pier. This is my first blog and I will be uploading it every 2 weeks as I plan and develop this challenge.

I first got into Charity work when I got involved with the National Citizen Service with Catch 22. This project was brought to my attention when I was under the support of the Suffolk Youth Offending Service as I haven't always been on the right road in my life. Through being on the NCS project it has helped me change as a person and now I feel like I am on the right track. It came to my attention that if I don't sit on my arse all day I could help someone who isn't as fortunate as me, that is why I have chosen to support the Great Olmond Street Hospital and Maisha.

I hope you enjoy reading this blog, there will be more to come and if you are as passionate as me about helping people with Cancer or other severe illnesses please donate.

Thanks,

Louis
