When a child is born every father makes a silent vow that they will do everything in their power to protect and love them forever.  

A week later a nurse told me that Tilly's life expectancy is about 30, she will face progressive challenges with breathing, digestion, lung infections among other problems.

That sort of news leaves you feeling incredibly powerless.  I thought I would be able to fix all of Tilly's problems, but this one's a biggy.  There's currently no cure.  

So what can we do?

We can empower ourselves with hope.  No one should face these challenges alone.  Together we can contribute to a cure.  

It won't be me who is investigating the genetics and pharmaceuticals but we can raise awareness and contribute some cash to the pot.

All money raised will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.  They are an excellent charity with some great ideas on where your money needs to be deployed.
